10-Day Vignette - Details

The 10-day vignette is valid for 10 consecutive calendar days starting from the chosen start date. It is the most flexible option, ideal for short visits, transit journeys and occasional motorway use. You can purchase it up to 30 days in advance and choose any future start date within that window.

Example: If you purchase a 10-day vignette with a start date of 15 July, it is valid from 00:00 on 15 July until 23:59 on 24 July.

2-Month Vignette - Details

The 2-month vignette is valid for 61 consecutive days from the chosen start date. It represents good value for extended stays, seasonal workers and travellers spending several weeks in or transiting through Austria. At €29.90, it costs less than purchasing three 10-day vignettes.

Annual Vignette - Details

The annual vignette is valid from 1 January to 31 January of the following year (13 months total). It goes on sale from 1 December of the preceding year. At €96.40, it is by far the most cost-effective option for anyone using Austrian motorways more than 10 times per year.

Pre-sale tip: Purchase the annual vignette in December to ensure uninterrupted coverage from 1 January.

Refunds and Cancellations

A vignette purchased online can be cancelled and refunded before the validity start date. Once the validity period has begun, no refund is possible under any circumstances. Refund requests must be submitted through the ASFINAG customer portal with your order number and registered email address.
